To commemorate the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation, the Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House introduces the "Glory of Ho Chi Minh" book series and digital products about Ho Chi Minh's cultural space.
Representative works in Ho Chi Minh's legacy
The Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House has just launched the book series "The Glory of Ho Chi Minh". This is a collection of articles, interviews, letters, poems, and representative works in the intellectual legacy that President Ho Chi Minh left to the Vietnamese nation.
Initially, the book series launched five works. Among them, "Southern Vietnam - The Impregnable Fortress of the Fatherland" compiles letters, telegrams, praises, and admonitions from President Ho Chi Minh to the people, cadres, soldiers, intellectuals, youth, children, and all strata of the people in Southern Vietnam. "Cadres are the foundation of all work" focuses on organizational work, cadres, and cadre ethics, emphasizing the requirement that cadres must be close to the people, understand the people, work for the people, have the capacity to work, and have a spirit of service to the people.
The remaining three works broaden the perspective on President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, journalistic activities, and feelings towards the country. "This Spring is Far Better Than Previous Springs" is a selection of New Year's greetings, New Year's letters, and appeals he sent to the people and soldiers nationwide during the period 1942-1969. "The Crimes of Colonialism" compiles articles by Nguyen Ai Quoc published in newspapers and journals in France and the Soviet Union during the period 1919-1928. "Our People Are So United in Love for the Fatherland" is a selection of interviews, speeches, and exchanges he had with the press, journalists, and international organizations during the period 1919-1966.

The early books covered a wide range of topics, from the President's affection for the people of Southern Vietnam and ethical requirements for officials, to New Year's poems, New Year's letters, and articles exposing the true nature of colonialism.
The library is expected to contain 79 works. In the future, the unit will continue to produce books on national independence, education , culture, religion, personnel work, propaganda, mass mobilization, and President Ho Chi Minh's affection for the South.
Bringing cultural spaces to the digital platform.
In addition to the bookshelves, the Ho Chi Minh cultural space is developed on a digital platform to create a visual, lively, and accessible way to access information, suitable for today's information needs.
The digital product has three main components. First is the digital journey of President Ho Chi Minh's 30-year quest for national salvation, covering the period from 1911 to 1941, recreating historical milestones, landmarks, and significance through storytelling.
The second section introduces representative works of President Ho Chi Minh during his revolutionary activities abroad, thereby highlighting his thoughts, intellect, and aspirations for national liberation.
The third section is a calendar of events and quotes about President Ho Chi Minh, displaying stories, historical milestones, and meaningful quotes in real time throughout the year.
Ms. Ong Thi Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House, stated that the application of digital technology is an inevitable trend in the publishing industry, helping to transform knowledge, history, and culture into more accessible forms.
"With that spirit in mind, the publishing house is launching digital products about Ho Chi Minh's cultural space to transform intellectual, historical, and cultural content into visually engaging, vivid, and easily accessible forms of expression. This is not only a new publishing product but also a modern communication solution, suitable for exhibition spaces, schools, libraries, and community education activities," she shared.
Along with digital products, the unit also introduced heritage models using books: Nha Rong Wharf and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. These artfully arranged book models, with historical annotations, create a visual highlight for exhibitions and community education.
