The program "Vietnamese Family Home" has just been nominated at the 29th Mai Vàng Awards (2023) in the category "Most Popular Program on Digital and Television Platforms (including YouTube, TikTok…)".

Having hosted numerous community-oriented programs, Quyền Linh only hopes that these programs will spread community values.

As the host, MC Quyền stated that the entire program team has always strived to be creative in order to bring the program closer to the public, attract more viewers, and spread its message further. This means that the poor will receive more support.

Although not nominated in the Most Popular Presenter category, MC Quyền Linh expressed his satisfaction at always being loved by the audience. Having received many awards at the Mai Vàng Awards, he wanted to give this award opportunity to others because he believes there are many more talented MCs than himself.

"I just hope the program will have an award so that it can be spread and shared more widely with everyone. Personally, I've received a lot of glory, and now it's time for me to leave it to others," he confided.

Quyền Linh believes that it is natural for a program focused on charity and social causes to struggle to compete with programs that are more entertainment-oriented.

Because entertainment programs attract a larger audience and receive more publicity, while charity programs, which primarily support the poor and lack entertainment elements, are at a disadvantage.

"The program doesn't create drama; instead, it gently touches people's hearts so they can share their feelings," he said.

Nevertheless, the cast of the TV series "Blood Money" is still proud because every program has its own strengths. "Vietnamese Family Home" has received support from many viewers because it carries humanistic values.

According to Quyền Linh, the program's creators didn't focus much on entertainment because they wanted to convey the emotions and feelings of the poor, sharing them with everyone so that they could work together to help them overcome difficulties in life.

"Therefore, even if the program doesn't win an award, the team will still go, still spread the word to remote areas. The most important thing is the affection of the audience and benefactors for the program," Quyen Linh affirmed.

The Vietnamese Family Shelter program initially targeted families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and later expanded to include families with orphaned children and other disadvantaged circumstances.
