No personal awards expected

The program "Vietnamese Family Home" has just been nominated at the 29th Mai Vang Awards (2023) in the category "Most favorite program on digital and television platforms (including YouTube, TikTok...).

Participating in leading many community programs, Quyen Linh only hopes that the programs spread community values.

As the host of the program, MC Quyen said that the entire program team has always tried to be creative so that the program can reach the public, attract more viewers and spread more widely. This means that the poor will receive more support.

Although not nominated for the Most Favorite MC category, MC Quyen Linh also expressed his satisfaction because he has always been loved by the audience. He himself has received many awards at the Mai Vang Awards, so he wants to give this award opportunity to others because he believes that there are many MCs who are better than him.

"I just hope the program will have an award so that it can be spread and shared more with everyone. Personally, I have received a lot of glory and now it's time for me to leave it to many people," he confided.

Quyen Linh believes that it is natural that a program that focuses on charity and social issues will have difficulty competing with programs that focus on entertainment.

The male MC believes that programs that focus on charity and society find it difficult to compete with programs that focus on entertainment.

Because entertainment programs will have more audiences and be promoted more, charity programs mainly support the poor and do not have many entertainment elements, so they will suffer many disadvantages.

"The show doesn't create drama but gently touches people's hearts so they can share," he said.

However, the star of the movie "Bloody Money" is still proud because every program has its own advantages. "Vietnamese Family Home" has received support from many viewers because of its humanistic values.

According to Quyen Linh, the program's creators do not create much entertainment in the program because they want to bring the emotions and feelings of the poor, share with everyone to join hands to help them overcome difficulties in life.

"Therefore, even though the program did not receive an award, the crew still went and spread to remote areas. The most important thing is the love of the audience and sponsors for the program," Quyen Linh affirmed.

Vietnamese Family Shelter is a program that initially targeted families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, then expanded to target families with orphaned children and other disadvantaged children.
