A different look for Jurgen Klopp. |
In a new series of photos posted on Instagram , the former Liverpool manager drew attention with his prominent mustache and neatly shaved beard. He jokingly compared himself to the character Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, in the popular television series of the same name.
Later, Klopp even dressed up as John Dutton – the cowboy character from the Yellowstone series – to attend the annual Mainz Carnival in Germany. He jokingly wrote: "Not Ted Lasso, but John Dutton today! Mainz Fastnacht, let's go!"
Klopp's transformation quickly went viral on social media. Many fans even compared him to Walter White – the legendary character played by Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad . "Klopp is entering the Walter White era," one user commented.
The 58-year-old strategist will leave Anfield in May 2024, ending a brilliant nine-year journey with Liverpool due to fatigue. In January 2025, he will take on the role of Global Director of Football at Red Bull, overseeing the group's clubs.
Despite enjoying his new life, Klopp is still rumored to be returning to the coaching bench. He has been mentioned as a potential candidate to manage Real Madrid or even the German national team.
However, last June, the German coach admitted he might have ended his coaching career because he no longer wanted to pursue that lifestyle.
