The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province recently inspected and confirmed the current status of the markers and construction site for the solar-powered lighting system project under Project 6 on "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" in Chau Phong commune (Tan Chau town).

The delegation worked with the People's Committee of Chau Phong commune.

The team conducted an on-site inspection.

At the end of the inspection, the delegation made recommendations to the local authorities.

Accordingly, the project involves installing 200 solar-powered streetlights (including poles and bulbs) in Chau Giang, Hoa Long, and Phum Soai hamlets.

The working group requested that in the coming period, local authorities should encourage households in the areas where lampposts are to be installed to cut down trees, trim branches, and remove obstacles and shelters to allow the construction unit to proceed. Regarding the Chau Phong – Long An route from Vam Kenh Bridge to the Community Cultural and Learning Center and the Phum Soai expanded residential area, since the previously determined location is obstructed by low-voltage power lines, the lamppost installation site needs to be moved to the opposite side of the road.
