Starting out as a mechanical engineer directly involved in construction sites, Mr. Ha Van Duc has grown through specific projects and construction items with increasingly high technical, schedule, and safety requirements. In his early years working at Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation - JSC, he participated in many key projects, including the Nghi Son oil refinery project, which helped him accumulate experience in construction organization, commissioning, and quality management in a complex industrial environment.

Next, he was assigned to oversee the Long Son petrochemical project in Brunei. Each project presented a new challenge, requiring the technical officer not only to master his expertise but also to proactively adapt to international standards, cultural differences, and stringent deadlines. It was during this process that Ha Van Duc's professional competence and leadership abilities were increasingly affirmed.

Engineer Ha Van Duc, on behalf of Construction Team No. 2, Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation - JSC, received the certificate for 3 million safe working hours at the project of fabricating and installing electrolysis modules for green hydrogen production projects.

His most notable achievement during the 2020-2025 period was his role as Team Leader of Construction Team No. 2, directly responsible for the fabrication and assembly of electrolysis modules for green hydrogen projects in the United States and Saudi Arabia. This was a completely new field, applying advanced electrolysis technology, with strict requirements for precision, safety, and quality control. In particular, the NEOM GH2 project in Saudi Arabia was highly appreciated by international partners, making a significant contribution to the completion of 94 electrolysis modules, achieving 110% of the export target. This is currently the largest and most advanced green hydrogen production project in the world , with 110 electrolysis modules and a total capacity of 2.2GW.

Not only does Mr. Ha Van Duc excel in his professional duties, but he also actively builds cooperative relationships with international partners, thereby spreading the image of Vietnamese officials and engineers as capable, professional, disciplined, and creative. He always focuses on learning, improving his skills, and sharing his experience with colleagues, contributing to building a high-quality team of engineers and technical workers for the Corporation.

With a spirit of competition in labor and research, Mr. Ha Van Duc is a leading figure in the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement, with many valuable technical innovations that have been effectively applied in production. Sharing his motivation for his work, Mr. Ha Van Duc expressed: "I always believe that each project I participate in is not only an economic product but also represents the image and reputation of Vietnamese mechanics. Contributing to leading green energy projects around the world, my colleagues and I feel very honored, and it affirms the intelligence and skills of Vietnamese people."
