On the afternoon of March 23, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province held a conference to announce the Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, which had just been approved by the Prime Minister . In the Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Dak Nong focuses on planning its transportation network in accordance with national sectoral planning for expressways, national highways, railways, inland ports, and airports.
This includes developing the national road network, comprising: the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) expressway; and the Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak) - Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) expressway. It also involves constructing the Dak Nong - Chon Thanh railway line, part of the railway network connecting the Central Highlands provinces, in accordance with the national railway network plan.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province, affirmed: "I believe that with the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway completed on schedule as directed by the Prime Minister, Dak Nong will take off and develop strongly, becoming prosperous and beautiful in the not too distant future."
Regarding provincial-level transportation infrastructure development, Dak Nong has invested in building a synchronous transportation infrastructure, creating a comprehensive and conveniently connected transportation network. This includes investing in the construction, upgrading, and renovation of 9 provincial-level roads; and investing in the construction of 3 new ring roads and 1 road connecting Gia Nghia City (Dak Nong) and Bao Lam District (Lam Dong)...

Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Nong province, emphasized: "The Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is an event of đặc biệt importance to the Party Committee, the government, and the people of all ethnic groups in the province."
Dak Nong province earnestly hopes to continue receiving attention and guidance from the central government to resolve the difficulties and obstacles the province is currently facing.
In particular, the locality hopes that the Government will soon direct the implementation of the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) Expressway Project, in order to attract investment and promote the socio-economic development of the province."
Furthermore, the plan outlines six development perspectives with the goal of building Dak Nong province into a developed province in the Central Highlands by 2050; with a synchronous and modern infrastructure; a prosperous society with an average income higher than the national average; a national center for aluminum and downstream aluminum industries; a high-tech, high-value agricultural sector; and a regional center for resort and eco-tourism. Dak Nong will become a "Strong province - wealthy people - beautiful nature - compassionate society".
Dak Nong must adhere to the planning guidelines for development.

The Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is an extremely important political and legal basis for the province to enter a new era of breakthrough, rapid, and sustainable development, with the overarching goal of becoming a developed province in the Central Highlands region by 2050, becoming a "strong province - prosperous people - beautiful nature - compassionate society".
In the coming period, Dak Nong province will focus on implementing solutions to carry out priority investment projects, prioritize attracting investment, and mobilize the total investment capital of the entire society, especially with the support of the central government, and the commitment and investment, and joint development of corporations and businesses with Dak Nong province.

In his directive speech, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized: "The Party and the State acknowledge and highly appreciate the results that the Party Committee, government, military, and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Nong province have achieved over the past 20 years."
After 20 years, the scale of the economy and all sectors of Dak Nong have increased. The province has escaped from being a poor province and has made breakthroughs in administrative reform indicators. With these achievements, the Party and State have awarded Dak Nong the prestigious First-Class Independence Order.

"Currently, the Dak Nong development plan has been approved, but there are still some difficulties and obstacles facing the province that cannot be immediately resolved. However, this serves as a basis for formulating the province's development direction in the coming period."
Dak Nong needs unity and cohesion, especially among its leaders, to enhance their responsibility to the Party, the State, and the people; it needs to pay more attention to ethnic minorities in three aspects: livelihoods, the availability of cadres working on ethnic affairs, and the ethnic people themselves.
The province needs to develop its economy, but it must also preserve its resources, including its forests, which serve as the lungs of Dak Nong province in particular and the Central Highlands in general. It needs to accelerate digital transformation, contributing to the development of other sectors. The locality needs to be selective in its projects and attract investment.
"Dak Nong must adhere to the orientations and plans outlined in the master plan. The province needs to be flexible in its approach to suit the local situation," Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang emphasized.
At this conference, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province also organized the 2024 Investment Promotion Conference. The conference was attended by more than 100 businesses and investors from inside and outside the province.
At the conference, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province awarded certificates and memoranda of understanding for investment in 8 projects to businesses. These included 4 new projects that received investment approval and investment certificates, with a total registered investment capital of over 1,700 billion VND; and 4 projects that signed memoranda of understanding for investment cooperation, with a total registered investment capital of 8.4 billion USD. In addition, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province also introduced and promoted investment in 44 potential projects.
