MS. VU THI BICH HAU, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT:
Developing OCOP in depth, focusing on quality and market.
Entering 2026, amidst an increasingly competitive market and stringent requirements for quality, traceability, and branding, the Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Environment has identified sustainable development and improving the quality of OCOP products as one of its key priorities.
In the coming period, the department will conduct a comprehensive review and evaluation of all OCOP products in the area, focusing on genuine quality, economic efficiency, and long-term development potential. Based on this, the Department will continue to support OCOP producers in perfecting their production processes according to safety and environmental standards; linking products with local elements and regional characteristics; and encouraging products with established markets to further upgrade their star ratings.
Along with quality, brand building is identified as a key factor determining the competitiveness of OCOP products. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to support OCOP entities in designing product models, packaging, labels, implementing traceability, and updating new regulations; while also promoting the application of science and technology in production, processing, and preservation to increase product value.
Faced with increasing competitive pressure, the Department will implement a comprehensive set of solutions to expand the consumer market, focusing on connecting with modern distribution systems, strengthening trade promotion activities, and promoting OCOP products. Simultaneously, the department will boost support for businesses participating in e-commerce, providing training in digital sales skills to adapt to new consumer trends.
Through synchronized solutions, we expect that Da Nang City's OCOP Program in 2026 will continue to develop sustainably, contributing to promoting the rural economy, enhancing the value of local products, and improving people's income.

MR. LE CONG HUNG, SECRETARY OF THE DA NANG CITY YOUTH UNION:
Improving the material and spiritual lives of young people in mountainous and border areas.
Looking back at 2025, amidst many uncertainties in the world and domestically, the city has gradually overcome difficulties and achieved positive results in many areas. Throughout this journey, the city's youth have continuously strived, matured, and affirmed their important role.
In the new year, I hope that the city's youth union and youth movement will continue to closely adhere to the city's political tasks, while innovating its methods of operation towards greater flexibility, modernity, and effectiveness. Digital transformation will continue to be a continuous task in the organization and management of the Youth Union's activities. I expect that digital platforms will not only support management but also become a space for young people to connect, share, and spread positive values.
One area I am particularly interested in is creating a favorable environment for young people to study, establish themselves, and build their careers. The Youth Union will continue to accompany and support young people in starting businesses and innovating through counseling programs, connecting resources, and skills training, paying more attention to disadvantaged youth and young workers, so that no one is left behind.
I also expect that volunteer movements in 2026 will continue to develop in depth, closely linked to the practical needs of the community. Youth projects and activities will focus strongly on social welfare, environmental protection, and building a civilized and safe city. With the support of all levels and sectors and the trust of society, I believe that the youth of the city will continue to leverage their intelligence, courage, and aspirations to contribute to building a sustainably developed, civilized, and modern Da Nang in 2026.

MR. LE VAN DAI, VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE DA NANG CITY FEDERATION OF LABOR:
Helping workers improve their lives and contribute to the city's development.
In 2026, along with the city's development, the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers will be placed on higher and more comprehensive requirements. As an organization representing and supporting workers, the City Federation of Labor expects that close coordination between the government, the Trade Union, and businesses will create significant changes, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations for the sustainable development of the city.
First and foremost, I hope the city will continue to focus on improving social security, labor, and employment policies and mechanisms, prioritizing the needs of workers. Investment in facilities serving workers, especially social housing, schools, healthcare facilities, and cultural institutions in industrial zones, needs to be implemented comprehensively, creating conditions for workers to stabilize their lives and feel secure in committing to the city in the long term.
Trade unions at all levels will continue to affirm their role as a reliable bridge between workers and the Party, State, government, and businesses. Trade unions will focus even more strongly on activities directed towards the grassroots, caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, ensuring that no one is left behind. The city's trade union will proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen dialogue and collective bargaining, improve the quality of collective labor agreements; and prioritize improving wages, income, working conditions, and ensuring occupational safety and health. Monitoring and forecasting the labor relations situation at the grassroots level will be carried out regularly, early, and proactively, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
In addition, I hope the city will continue to create favorable conditions for the Trade Union to innovate its content and methods of operation, promote digital transformation, diversify forms of propaganda, provide legal advice, and train workers to improve their skills, especially young workers.
With the coordinated efforts of the government, trade unions, and the business community, I believe that 2026 will be a year in which the work of caring for and protecting workers will be carried out in depth, contributing to building a rapidly developing, sustainable, and humane city.

MS. LE THI MINH TAM, CHAIRWOMAN OF THE DA NANG CITY FARMERS' ASSOCIATION:
Farmers unite to build a sustainably developed Da Nang.
In 2026, the city's Farmers' Association at all levels places high expectations on a new, more effective and sustainable phase of development for the Association's work and the farmers' movement. This year is of particular importance, the first year of implementing the Resolution of the First City Farmers' Association Congress and the Resolution of the Vietnam Farmers' Association Congress. I expect that the Association at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities in a practical direction, meeting the aspirations of farmers, being close to the people and grassroots, and truly being a reliable support for members and farmers.
The City Farmers' Association continues to uphold its spirit and responsibility in propaganda and mobilization work, organizing practical movements and activities, especially providing support services to farmers in terms of capital, knowledge, agricultural supplies, production linkages, product consumption, application of science and technology, digital transformation in agriculture, and building collective economic models, contributing to improving the income and living standards of farmers.
With a spirit of unity and faith in the leadership of the Party and the administration of all levels of government, I believe that 2026 will open up many new opportunities and create significant changes in the work of the association and the farmers' movement.

DR. PHAM CHAU HUYNH, DIRECTOR OF THE DA NANG BIOTECHNOLOGY CENTER:
The expectation is that Da Nang will become a center for innovation in biotechnology.
Entering 2026, the Da Nang Biotechnology Center expects to achieve a breakthrough milestone by completing phase 1 of its equipment investment project with two modern laboratories: Gentech Lab - genetic technology and Bioprocessing & Foodtech Lab - bioprocessing and food processing. In addition, it aims to continue attracting talent in the fields of biotechnology, agriculture, medicine, food, processing technology, and innovation management through competitive compensation mechanisms, a modern research environment, opportunities for international cooperation, and a transparent benefit-sharing mechanism from product commercialization.
2026 marks a crucial turning point, signifying the center's transformation from infrastructure investment to efficient operation as a "Regional Center" for biotechnology, serving as a nucleus for implementing strategic tasks related to food security, food safety, and the development of rare medicinal plants. Simultaneously, it will be a hub for collaborative programs, bridging the gap between Vietnamese science and technology and the region. Through this, Da Nang will contribute to becoming a center for innovation in biotechnology for the South Central region and the Mekong sub-region.

MR. TRUONG CONG NGHIEM, CHAIRMAN OF THE CITY'S ASSOCIATION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES:
Expectations for more policies for people with disabilities.
Over the past period, the city has issued and implemented many social welfare policies to care for all segments of the population, including people with disabilities. As a result, vulnerable groups have received profound attention from the city government, giving them the motivation to strive and improve their lives.
In the new year of 2026, I expect the city to continue its remarkable development, achieving great successes in various fields, fostering strong public support, and providing even better care for all segments of the population. Besides policies promoting socio-economic development, the city needs more specific policies for people with disabilities, such as: long-term vocational training linked to sustainable employment, opening opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in the labor market, contributing their efforts and expertise to economic development, and generating income to support themselves. At the same time, the city should expand access to preferential loans, creating conditions for people with disabilities to borrow capital for business and family economic development; and provide loans to businesses to participate in training and employment for people with disabilities, contributing to the city's efforts in caring for this group.
