(NLĐO) - The People's Committee of Lam Dong province has revoked land leases from businesses due to violations of the Land Law and terminated part of the projects.
On March 7th, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued notices to revoke land leases previously granted to Truong Ky Private Enterprise (Bao Loc City) and An Vuong Da Huoai Company for project implementation; and to revoke a portion of land previously leased to Anh Duc Limited Company.
Lam Dong province is reviewing all delayed projects to address difficulties and obstacles.
Accordingly, 93.1 hectares of land leased to Truong Ky Private Enterprise in Loc Thanh commune, Bao Lam district in 2006 will be reclaimed. The reason for the reclamation is that the enterprise violated land laws by failing to fulfill its financial obligations to the state.
The People's Committee of Lam Dong province also announced the revocation of 13.32 hectares of land leased to Anh Duc Co., Ltd. in Loc Tan commune, Bao Lam district in 2008 because the company had partially terminated its investment project.
These two businesses have 45 days to organize the handling of assets on the land in accordance with regulations; after the deadline, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will issue a decision to revoke the land.
As for An Vuong Da Huoai Company, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee decided to revoke the 3.5 hectares of land leased to this company in Madagui commune, Da Huoai district, in 2019. This revocation occurred because the company had exceeded its 24-month extension period.
The People's Committee of Lam Dong province has also just issued a decision allowing Da Nhim Thuong 2 Hydropower Joint Stock Company to extend the use of nearly 56.3 hectares of land for another 24 months to continue implementation.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province.
Currently, Lam Dong province has 203 projects involving 18,000 hectares of land that are behind schedule.
