Why would a fairly well-known company in the housing sector invest in an industrial park? Are they expanding their business, or are they cutting the cord and not doing housing business anymore?

Báo Sài Gòn Giải phóngBáo Sài Gòn Giải phóng02/09/2025

- That is not unusual in recent times. Residential real estate revenue has dropped sharply, causing real estate companies' profits to plummet. They looked at the market and quickly shifted to industrial real estate. This segment still promises good growth in the coming years. The reason is that the demand for building factories in industrial parks is still high.

- So not only foreign enterprises, but also domestic private enterprises are willing to invest in production. But will enterprises that are only familiar with the housing sector have a weak leg when doing something completely new?

- The way to overcome this challenge is to link up with established names in the market. Another way is for real estate companies to buy out companies that are building industrial parks. Such options shorten the time to explore, and bring in revenue and profit sooner.

- Market forces always create the driving force for change. Even in difficult times, business people are not constrained. Industrial real estate at this stage needs renewable energy sources and smart management systems following green trends. To adapt, businesses must always find appropriate ways to renew themselves.
