Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes told reporters at a press conference last week, "It's great to play against a sitting president. He's the person who's in the highest position in this country."

Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, also said that playing in front of the president was "a great honor." He said, "You know, whoever the president is, I'm still very excited because this is the biggest game of my life. And having the president there makes it even better."

Hours before heading to the game, Fox News aired a segment of an interview Trump gave to host Bret Baier, in which he predicted the Chiefs would win, praised quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife, and reiterated his support for Elon Musk's government cost-cutting efforts.
