According to Nguyen Duy Phong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Tinh Bien Town Party Committee, the "Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space" is a place to preserve and display documents, images, and artifacts about the two leaders, helping the people better understand the lives and careers of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang. "This model not only honors the contributions of the leaders but also provides an opportunity for religious establishments in Tinh Bien town to spread their positive spirit and moral values to the community. Therefore, building the 'Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space' at religious establishments is an important step, helping to connect spiritual values with the historical and cultural values of the nation," affirmed Comrade Nguyen Duy Phong.
As the first place to implement the model in Tinh Bien town, Buu Son Pagoda has become a "highlight" of patriotism, aiming to spread this to other religious establishments in the locality. Venerable Thich Ton Quang (Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Tinh Bien town, Abbot of Buu Son Pagoda) affirmed: “The ‘Ho Chi Minh, Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space’ model is a symbol of harmony between religion and life in the spirit of Buddhism. In terms of cultural significance, the model aims to honor the noble values left behind by the two leaders. In terms of moral significance, the model is a place for everyone, especially the younger generation, to learn to love their compatriots, appreciate the value of labor, and live responsibly towards the community.”
Venerable Thich Ton Quang affirmed that the model also carries immense historical significance as it connects the past, present, and future, helping people today understand more about the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, reminding us of our responsibility to preserve and promote that heritage. It is also a place to awaken national pride, strengthen unity, and foster the will to strive for progress among all people.
“In particular, the ‘Ho Chi Minh, Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space’ is a harmonious connection between Buddhist ethical values and national cultural and historical values. Coming here, we not only contemplate the past, but also cultivate morality and spread patriotism to build a close-knit and harmonious community. We hope this model will become a bright ‘torch’ to illuminate the cultural, ethical, and historical values of the nation to everyone, in every home,” emphasized Venerable Thich Ton Quang.

Attending the model's launch ceremony and witnessing images related to the revolutionary careers of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, as well as activities of various levels and sectors associated with religion, Venerable Thich Le Bao (abbot of Dang Huong Pagoda, Nhon Hung Ward, Tinh Bien Town) shared: “I find the model "Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space" to be a meaningful initiative, aiming to honor the great values of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, who dedicated their lives to the cause of national liberation and building a peaceful , just, and developed country as it is today.”
Recognizing the need to create a sacred space that combines traditional national culture with lofty humanistic values for everyone, Venerable Thich Le Bao called on all religious establishments, temples, and monasteries throughout the town to join in building this model. Through this, each place of worship will become a "cultural space," a destination for believers, Buddhists, and the general public to visit and learn about the nation's positive moral and revolutionary values.
Sharing the same view, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tinh Bien Town Party Committee, Vo Thi Thuy Tien, expressed her hope that the "Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space" model located at Buu Son Pagoda would continue to spread humanistic values, unite the community, and ignite the fighting spirit of future generations. At the same time, it serves as a reminder to everyone of their responsibility to preserve and promote the precious spiritual heritage left by President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang.
“I hope that this model will continue to receive the attention and support of religious establishments in the town and the entire community so that it can develop more widely, so that each religious establishment becomes a sustainable cultural, historical, and educational space, spreading positive values. Through this, it will encourage all levels of the people to continue striving and contributing to building a more prosperous and developed homeland and country,” affirmed Vo Thi Thuy Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Tinh Bien Town Party Committee.
