Spreading the spirit of "Youth dedicating themselves to the Party"

In order to create a strong transformation in the quantity and quality of young Party members, and to replenish the Party with youthful energy, the Party committees and political and social organizations of Quang Ninh province continue to extensively implement the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement, contributing to creating youthful energy for the Party and demonstrating youthful energy in the era of national progress.

Students at Uong Bi High School (Uong Bi City) are cultivating their knowledge, improving themselves, and striving to join the ranks of the Party.

In early 2025, seven high school students and three outstanding university and college students from Uong Bi City were selected to attend a Party awareness training course. This is a great honor, a source of pride, and also a significant responsibility for these young people still in school. Nguyen Tri Dung (a 12th-grade student from Uong Bi High School) shared: "I feel very honored to participate in the Party awareness training course. After the course, I have a clearer understanding of my shortcomings and what I need to improve to strive to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam . I will strive to study well, actively participate in school activities and emulation movements, and improve myself. Becoming a Party member is a motivation for me to continue striving and dedicating my youth to the Party."

Uong Bi City is one of the leading localities in implementing the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement. With proactive efforts in recruiting new Party members, especially strongly responding to the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement, in 2024 the Uong Bi City Party Committee completed its target of recruiting 296 new Party members, including 98 new members in the youth age group, accounting for 33.1%.

According to Tran Van Giau, Secretary of the Uong Bi City Youth Union: Following the directives of higher authorities, in 2025 the Uong Bi City Youth Union will continue to extensively implement the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement at all levels of the Youth Union, associations, and teams through various forms. This will focus on organizing competitions to learn about emulation movements and achieve accomplishments to dedicate to the Party, thereby identifying outstanding young people to be recommended and considered for Party membership. The City Youth Union will continue to advise on opening many Party awareness classes, especially for young people preparing for military service, to find truly outstanding individuals who are both politically committed and professionally competent, contributing to the overall development of the locality and the province, demonstrating the youthful energy in the era of national progress.

Provincial Youth Union officials discussed with grassroots Youth Union officials the implementation of the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement.

Not only in Uong Bi City, but all levels of the Youth Union in the province are continuing to implement the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement, linked to Party development among students, in accordance with the specific conditions of each locality and unit. Youth Union branches have proactively developed plans and methods for recommending outstanding members for Party membership consideration, assigning specific targets to each unit based on the local Party committee's new member recruitment targets. At the same time, they have implemented the campaign "Youth Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam" in 100% of their branches and grassroots organizations; guided the development of models such as "Self-cultivation groups striving to become Party members," "When I'm 18," etc., attracting a large number of Youth Union members to participate; and focused on improving the quality of outstanding members recommended for Party membership consideration, especially those in high schools, colleges, and universities in the province.

Provincial Youth Union Secretary Nguyen The Minh affirmed: After one year of implementation, the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" emulation movement has brought a new impetus, creating an environment and providing further motivation for the youth of Quang Ninh to continuously cultivate their ideals. Through this, a team of young people who are both politically committed and professionally competent is gradually being formed, contributing to the sustainable development of the province. The movement also helps grassroots Party organizations in schools to have specific plans and targets for developing Party members among students, and to ensure that the assessment and evaluation of students are substantive and accurately reflect each individual's abilities. During the 2020-2025 term, the provincial Youth Union introduced 12,121 outstanding members to the Party, of which nearly 6,700 have been admitted to the Party. In particular, from March 2024 to the present, through the "Youth Dedicated to the Party" movement, the entire Youth Union has introduced more than 2,770 outstanding members to the Party, and nearly 2,000 have been admitted to the Party, including 186 student Party members.
