On June 17th, at the Trinh Tuong Commune Cultural and Sports Center, the Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station (Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard) collaborated with the Trinh Tuong Commune Summer Activities Steering Committee, the Lao Cai Provincial Cultural, Arts and Sports Center, the Loving Highlands Club, and other relevant units to organize a Reading Festival and present community bookshelves to the people of Pho Moi 1 and Pho Moi 2 villages.
The program included many meaningful activities such as: displaying and introducing books; guiding reading skills; exchanging knowledge; raising awareness about preventing drowning among children; and donating community libraries to serve the people and youth in the border area.

The Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station serves as the focal point for connecting social resources, coordinating with the Lao Cai Provincial Library and charitable organizations to mobilize books, organize program activities, and ensure security and safety while promoting propaganda and education for young people in the area.

This activity contributes to spreading a reading culture, creating a healthy and beneficial playground for children and students during the summer, improving the cultural and spiritual life of people in border areas, and at the same time promoting the role of the Border Guard in mobilizing the masses, caring for the younger generation, and building a strong national border defense system.
