To celebrate the new moon season, the youth of Hiep Hoa commune, Tay Ninh province, have implemented many practical and meaningful activities. These activities not only bring joy to rural children celebrating the moon but also spread the spirit of sharing, contributing to beautifying the rural landscape.

The Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business Administration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, implemented the "Loving Mid-Autumn Festival" program, season 3, at Truong Cong Xuong Primary School.

Playing a leading role in local movements, the Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, in coordination with the Faculty of Business Administration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, and the Student Union of the Faculty of Library and Information Science, VO-LIS Volunteer Club, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, carried out meaningful activities on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The series of activities began with the youth project "Clean Streets, Green Roads." On the first day, commune youth union members and volunteer students cleaned roads, planted trees, and installed five trash cans along residential streets. The project not only contributed to beautifying the landscape but also raised awareness of maintaining general hygiene and protecting a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

Tran Thai Sang, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, said: “Volunteer activities not only bring joy to children but also demonstrate the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of young people towards the locality. Through each task, we hope to contribute to spreading the spirit of sharing, solidarity, and working together to build a more civilized and compassionate homeland.”

Besides environmental projects, social welfare activities were also implemented, carrying profound humanitarian significance. A "Zero-Cost Stall" was organized to share the difficulties faced by local people. Essential goods and clothing were donated by union members and students, neatly arranged for people to receive. The image of hands giving and receiving in simple joy made the atmosphere even warmer.

Ho Thi Ngoc Tram, a member of the Youth Union in Hiep Hoa commune, shared: “I feel happy to be able to contribute to helping people in difficult circumstances. This is an opportunity for each Youth Union member to better understand the value of sharing, which helps me to love and feel more attached to my homeland.”

The Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, along with volunteer students, also organized a colorful Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at Hiep Hoa Primary School and Truong Cong Xuong Primary School.

Programs such as the third season of "Loving Mid-Autumn Festival" - themed "My Wishes Are Brought to You," "Joyful Moonlight Festival," and the "Skillful Hands - Beautiful Lanterns" workshop, along with the "Bright Moon on the Full Moon" night festival, took place, attracting a large number of children. The children had the opportunity to make their own lanterns, play traditional games, and participate in cultural performances with student volunteers.

Many Mid-Autumn Festival gifts were given to elementary school students.

Furthermore, as part of this series of activities, the Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, together with the Student Union of the Faculty of Library and Information Science, the VO-LIS Volunteer Club, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), awarded 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students at Hiep Hoa Primary School and 5 gifts to policy beneficiary families in the area. These gifts, though small, demonstrate a spirit of sharing and contribute to a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Youth Union of Hiep Hoa commune, in coordination with other units, organized an art program and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to the children of Hiep Hoa Primary School.

Tran Huy Bao, head of the VO-LIS Club at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), expressed: “This is the first time I’ve participated in organizing a Mid-Autumn Festival in Tay Ninh province. Seeing the children excitedly playing, I feel my efforts have been rewarded. Through this activity, we learned many things about sharing and solidarity.”

Activities celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival not only bring joy to everyone but also affirm the pioneering spirit and responsibility of young people towards their homeland and country.
