Establish a working group to inspect the selection of contractors for the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway.

(PLVN) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the Ministry of Finance to coordinate with the Ministry of Construction to establish an inter-ministerial working group to inspect the process of selecting contractors for the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway through Binh Phuoc. The inspection must be completed and reported to the Prime Minister before June 10, 2025.

The Government Office has just issued Document No. 4755/VPCP-CN conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on the selection of contractors for the construction of the Expressway Construction Package under the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (section through Binh Phuoc province).

Regarding the selection of contractors for the Expressway Construction Package of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (section through Binh Phuoc province), invested by the Binh Phuoc Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has given specific instructions.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Construction to immediately establish a joint working group between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction to inspect the process of organizing the selection of contractors for this bid package.

The inspection contents include: Bidding documents, bid evaluation results, handling and resolution of bidding recommendations, capacity and experience of the Expert Team, and other necessary contents.

The inspection must ensure fairness, objectivity, transparency and economic efficiency. At the same time, it must ensure the correct principle in implementing the policy of maximum decentralization to localities: "locality decides, locality acts, locality takes responsibility", but must go hand in hand with timely inspection and supervision.

Complete the inspection and report to the Prime Minister before June 10, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction in the process of performing tasks; direct investors, bidding parties, and expert teams to report and provide timely and complete dossiers, information, and accompanying documents.
