A flock of birds has come to roost in our tree. No wonder we keep hearing chirping in the yard at night. Yes, it has been a long time since we saw sparrows flying freely back to the village. Did they find a peaceful place? Did they have no place to stay when traps are waiting everywhere?
Looking at the birds that have not yet flown away but are still jumping from branch to branch passionately, I suddenly realize that life seems to be losing simple, familiar, precious things that I do not know. In my childhood in the countryside, the image of flocks of birds is not strange, why do I regret it now?
How can we not feel regretful when after a long time since the countryside began to change in the era of industrialization and modernization, the birds' chirping has been absent from the peaceful villages. Is it possible that the peaceful villages are no longer peaceful with birds?

The countryside has changed dramatically. Agriculture in the 4.0 era is no longer a workaholic, working day and night, but for profit, people are willing to use pesticides excessively, depleting the natural food sources of birds such as grasshoppers, locusts, dragonflies, shrimp, and insects. People have changed from the need to eat well and wear warm clothes to the need to enjoy delicious food and beautiful clothes. Wild birds and freshwater fish suddenly become specialties on luxurious banquet tables of restaurants from urban to rural areas. There are flocks of birds that do not want to go far or miss their old places and return, but fall into traps that are waiting from the fields to the ponds and home gardens. The sounds of fake birds such as storks, sparrows, starlings, and starlings... coming from small speakers echo everywhere. The lure of modern electronic devices by hunters in the technological era has left huge consequences when the whole flock of birds falls into nets and sticky plastic traps.
Wild birds gradually became rare and were bought and sold at high prices as a hobby, a trendy trend for the rich. Pet birds were locked in beautiful but narrow cages, not even bothering to jump around. They lay sadly missing the free sky, sometimes their throats itched and they sang hoarsely because they did not have the harmony of their kind and nature; they regretted the free sky out there.
Looking at the birds hopping from branch to branch on the tree and then flying up into the sky, both father and son were extremely happy. I was sure that in the evening they would return here when they realized there was no threat. I happily thought that good land would attract birds; being in harmony with nature would protect people. Thinking like that, I felt a new day starting so beautifully. Beautiful like simple joys that are enough to bring peace to the soul. Thinking and wishing that I could always hear the chirping of birds in the free sky, not seeing the birds singing hoarsely in a narrow cage because of the cruel pleasures of humans. Thinking and wishing, in a life that is already too noisy, listening to the chirping of birds would calm the heart...
