At the conference, female union members and workers had the opportunity to socialize and receive commemorative gifts in honor of International Women's Day on March 8th.
Lawyer Nguyen Phan Bao Khuyen (Legal Consulting Center, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union) shared many practical contents on measures to maintain family happiness in the context of modern society; disseminated some regulations of the Marriage and Family Law, and answered questions related to family life of female union members and workers.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Thai Thu Xuong extended her congratulations to the female union members and workers on the occasion of March 8th.
According to him, March 8th is not only an occasion for women to receive greetings and attention from society, but also an opportunity to reflect on their role and capabilities within the family and society.
"When women are respected, protected, and given opportunities to develop, they will contribute more, fulfilling their roles as mothers and wives while also being skilled workers and talented managers," the comrade emphasized.


According to Comrade Thai Thu Xuong, in recent times, movements such as "Excellent in national affairs, capable in household affairs," "Creative labor," and "Building happy families," launched by the Trade Union, have contributed to discovering and nurturing many outstanding female cadres and recommending them to the Party.
In the coming period, the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor Unions will continue to implement programs to care for union members, focusing on grassroots levels; strengthening digital and soft skills training; improving the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements, contributing to ensuring the rights and improving the lives of female workers.
On the same day, Task Force No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union, in coordination with Tu Du Hospital, organized free health consultations, check-ups, and medication distribution for 300 female union members and workers, and 100 children of union members in difficult circumstances.
Participants also received gifts and a cash bonus of 150,000 VND in celebration of International Women's Day (March 8th).
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor Unions, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, presented 600 ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses) to female union members and workers in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City.
