The photo series was submitted by the author to the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam", organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .

The costumes of the Dao Lo Gang people stand out with yellow and orange colors and patterns of birds and pine trees. The embroidery is very unique, with 5 basic colors, mainly red. According to the Dao Lo Gang people, red brings happiness, luck and creates positive energy for people. Dao Lo Gang women wear embroidered bibs with silver stars, white belts embroidered with black tree branch patterns, and hats shaped like roofs, wrapped around the hats with strings of colorful beads. The wedding costume of the Dao Lo Gang bride is quite beautiful and elaborate, including a veil embroidered with colorful threads. The Ao Dai is decorated with embroidery from the collar down to the hem. The headdress is a scarf embroidered with many motifs. The groom's costume is an Ao Dai with embroidered patterns from the collar down to the hem, patterns on the wrists and the back of the shirt.
