ChaBur Festival
According to Cham beliefs, Chabur is the final ceremony of the year at Cham mausoleums and towers, and it also takes place during the harvest season in their traditional agricultural life. Therefore, the festival carries profound meaning: giving thanks to the Mother Goddess Po Inu Nugar – Thien Y Thanh Mau, thanking the Earth God for blessing with favorable weather and bountiful harvests, and praying for health, peace, and good fortune for the community. This photo series captures the sacred yet intimate moments of the Chabur ceremony, where Cham heritage is not only preserved in memory but remains vibrant in contemporary life. Through each image, we can feel the pride, community spirit, and yearning for peace of the Cham people of Ham Thuan Bac – those who persistently preserve the cultural heritage of their ancestors through countless seasons.

The " Happy Vietnam 2026 " award is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television.
The 2026 awards will continue to be held nationwide with two categories: photos and videos .
The submitted works will be judged in two rounds, preliminary and final, by a judging panel comprising reputable experts, journalists, photographers, and filmmakers, ensuring objectivity, transparency, and professional quality.
