A FESTIVE CELEBRATION FOR THE QUEENThe Queen Mother Temple Festival takes place in Diem village, Bac Ninh province, from the 5th to the 7th of the 2nd lunar month to honor the Queen Mother, the founder of Quan Ho folk singing. The festival is unique with its ritual procession of water from the Jade Well, devotional singing, and call-and-response Quan Ho singing sessions around Diem village. Matriarchal familyThe traditional Ede longhouse, a dwelling primarily occupied by women, reflects the existence of a matriarchal system. Ede custom dictates that sons, upon marriage, must live in their wives' homes, while daughters, upon marriage, have their houses extended to accommodate the newlywed couple. Thus, the longhouse continues to grow, sheltering generations of Ede people in the vast Tây Nguyên highlands.

The " Happy Vietnam 2026 " award is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television.

The 2026 awards will continue to be held nationwide with two categories: photos and videos .

The submitted works will be judged in two rounds, preliminary and final, by a judging panel comprising reputable experts, journalists, photographers, and filmmakers, ensuring objectivity, transparency, and professional quality.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026 in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
