On the morning of March 21, 2025, at the Ba Trieu Temple (Trieu Loc commune, Hau Loc district), the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province solemnly organized the Ba Trieu Temple Festival 2025, commemorating the 1777th anniversary of the death of national heroine Trieu Thi Trinh.

Attending the festival were: Comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments, agencies, units and localities, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over.

The festival began with the presentation of the congratulatory address and the offering of incense; in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh and the Deputy Provincial Party Secretaries, along with other provincial leaders, offered incense to pay homage to the spirit of national heroine Trieu Thi Trinh and the ancestors who participated in the uprising against the invading Wu army.

In his opening remarks at the festival, Mr. Pham Nguyen Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, affirmed the role and significance of the Ba Trieu Uprising and the merits of the heroine Trieu Thi Trinh; honoring the unique and precious values of the Ba Trieu Temple Festival and the historical, cultural and architectural relic site of Ba Trieu Temple. He also emphasized the responsibility and contributions of all levels, sectors, localities and the people in preserving and promoting the heritage values of the Ba Trieu Temple Festival.

For 1777 years, the glorious tradition of the Ba Trieu uprising and the heroic sacrifice of national heroine Trieu Thi Trinh has been deeply remembered and emulated by the people of the whole country, especially Vietnamese women and women in Thanh Hoa province. Following the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," for many years, on the anniversary of her death, Thanh Hoa province has solemnly organized the annual Ba Trieu Temple Festival to pay tribute to and commemorate the national heroine Trieu Thi Trinh; and to educate future generations of cadres, party members, and people about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and love for the nation.

At the same time, it is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the value of the special national historical site of Ba Trieu Temple; so that it will always be an attractive tourist destination of Thanh Hoa province; contributing to building Thanh Hoa into a prosperous, beautiful, civilized and modern province; and together with the whole country, steadily moving into a new era - the era of national progress.

To commemorate her great contributions, from the 19th to the 22nd of the second lunar month every year, a large number of visitors from all over gather in Phu Dien village, Trieu Loc commune, Hau Loc district to participate in the Trieu Lady Temple Festival. The festival is organized on a large scale, in a spacious area following a very strict closed process of Temple - Mausoleum - Communal House, with many rich, unique and solemn activities.
