At the Na Lech village cultural center, artisans performed the ritual of offering sacrifices during the Pang A ceremony. The ceremony took place around the "Xang Pang" pole, which consists of a hook symbolizing a black buffalo and a banana tree symbolizing a white buffalo. The pole is decorated with many items related to daily life and offerings for the ceremony. The ritual aims to report to the ancestors, invite the spirits to attend the ceremony, express gratitude to the ancestors and the heavens, and pray for favorable weather, a bountiful harvest, and a prosperous and fulfilling life.

While the shaman performs the ritual, the villagers dance together to pray for rain, perform scarf dances, sword dances, compete in throwing the "con" (a type of ball), and jump rope; the young men and women beat the "tang bu" drums and enthusiastically perform the "xoe" dance, creating a vibrant and lively festival atmosphere that vividly reflects the culture in production and daily life of the La Ha people. Particularly noteworthy in the Pang A festival is the "Sung Lung" dance, which depicts the fertility beliefs and prayers for human health and the flourishing of all things among the La Ha people.

Chieng Lao currently has 6 out of 39 villages primarily inhabited by the La Ha ethnic group. For many years, the La Ha people have preserved their beautiful traditional cultural features such as rituals, costumes, and traditional dances.
The Pang A ceremony is a unique cultural and religious practice held to pray for bountiful harvests, good health, good fortune, and to express gratitude to the deities and traditional healers who have protected the health of the villagers. The re-establishment of the Pang A ceremony aims to rekindle pride and awareness of preserving traditional culture, contributing to the preservation of the ethnic cultural heritage in the commune.
