On September 2nd, the Naval Political Department announced that amidst the nationwide celebration of the 79th National Day, the officers and soldiers of the DK 1 offshore platform remain steadfast, proactive, and ready for all situations, ensuring the mainland is not caught off guard by the sea, with the determination to firmly protect the sovereignty of the southern sea and continental shelf of the Fatherland. According to the Naval Political Department, despite the harsh weather conditions, the DK 1 platforms have consistently strengthened their duty shifts, practiced combat readiness plans, maintained 24/7 vigilance, observed and monitored targets in their assigned sea areas, and promptly reported to higher authorities as required.

In addition, the DK 1 offshore platforms organize vibrant, healthy, and safe cultural, artistic, and recreational activities such as table tennis, chess, karaoke, weightlifting, and reading. These activities contribute to celebrating National Day with the rest of the country, ensuring that each officer and soldier remains mentally prepared for work, steadfast in the face of harsh conditions, actively maintains their health, fosters unity and camaraderie, and successfully completes all assigned tasks, according to the Naval Political Department.
