According to Document 8056/VPCP-KGVX, on December 1, 12 of the Government Office, civil servants, public employees and employees are on National Day holiday from September 2022 to September 1, 9.
Government leaders requested the agencies and units implementing the above holiday schedule to arrange reasonable work arrangements to handle work continuously, ensuring good service to the organization and people. Government leaders authorized the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to announce the National Day holiday in 2023.
Under the authorization of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued a notice stating that: Civil servants and public employees will be off for National Day in 2023 from Friday, September 1 to the end of Monday, April 9. 4-9 solar calendar.
This holiday includes 2 National Day holidays, 1 weekly rest day and 1 weekly rest day as prescribed by the Labor Code.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs requested agencies and units implementing the National Day holiday in 2023 to pay attention to the arrangement and arrangement of working departments to handle work continuously and ensure good service to organizations and people.
Agencies and units that do not implement a fixed schedule of holidays every Saturday and Sunday will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
For employees who are not civil servants and public employees, the employer decides to choose the National Day holiday in 2023. Accordingly, the employee is entitled to Saturday, September 2 and choose 9 in 1 days: Friday, September 2 or Sunday, September 1, 9.
If the weekly rest day coincides with a public holiday or New Year, the employee is entitled to make up for the weekly rest day on the next working day in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code.
