Qingming Festival in Kim Nai Village

QTO - On the morning of April 5th, Kim Nai village, Truong Ninh commune, held the Thanh Minh festival for the year of the Horse 2026. This is an annual event of Kim Nai village, becoming a beautiful traditional cultural practice that reflects the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source" that the people here have maintained for hundreds of years.

This year's Qingming Festival attracted a large number of villagers from Kim Nai who live and work throughout the country. In a solemn atmosphere, the villagers together cleaned and tidied up the communal burial ground. Here, a solemn prayer ceremony was held, praying for favorable weather and expressing gratitude to the ancestors who contributed to the founding and development of the village.

Kim Nai village has over 250 households and a tradition nearly 500 years old. As one of the "Eight Famous Villages" of the former Quang Binh province, Kim Nai is a land of studious people, with many achieving academic success. Therefore, the Thanh Minh festival here, besides its spiritual significance, is also an opportunity to connect the community, educate the younger generation about the traditions of their homeland, and contribute to preserving valuable community cultural values.
