Le Van Do was on the bench, Bui Vi Hao started.

Coach Philippe Troussier made several changes to the starting lineup of the Vietnam U23 team compared to the previous two matches. Players who had played less were given a chance. Le Van Do, Tran Quang Thinh, Nguyen Van Tung, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Phan Tuan Tai... were all included in the substitutes list for the match against Singapore U23.

Nguyen Duc Anh, Cao Van Binh, and Le Quoc Nhat Nam made their debut in the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers. Luong Duy Cuong, Bui Vi Hao, Ho Van Cuong, Khuat Van Khang, and Nguyen Dinh Bac were also given a chance to start after coming on as substitutes in the first two matches.

Le Van Do and several other key players of the Vietnam U23 team did not start in the match against Singapore U23.

In the starting eleven for Vietnam U23 today (September 12), only Nguyen Ngoc Thang, Nguyen Thai Son, and Hoang Van Toan were regular starters against Guam U23 and Yemen U23.

Vietnam U23 has already qualified for the 2024 AFC U23 Asian Cup. Coach Troussier's team is the first to achieve this, after defeating Guam U23 and Yemen U23. With no pressure to achieve a specific result, Coach Troussier can experiment with various personnel options in the match against Singapore U23.
