According to Sky Sports , Lewandowski does not want to leave Barcelona in the January transfer window, despite receiving numerous offers. Furthermore, Barcelona has no plans to exchange the 37-year-old striker for another player in the near future.
Barcelona's management has determined that Lewandowski remains a key player in the current squad and has no intention of making changes to the attacking line-up mid-season.
Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona is entering its final six months. According to FIFA regulations, from this point onwards, the Polish striker is free to negotiate and sign preliminary agreements with any club for the next season without needing approval from Camp Nou.
This season, Lewandowski is Barcelona's second-highest scorer, with 8 goals in 18 appearances across all competitions, behind only Ferran Torres. His experience, positioning, and finishing skills continue to be invaluable to Barca.
However, Barcelona cannot guarantee Lewandowski's long-term future, not just for the 2026/27 season. If the former Bayern Munich star is no longer considered a central attacking option for coach Hansi Flick or is relegated to a reserve role, a departure from Camp Nou next summer is entirely possible.
In that context, attractive offers from MLS (USA) or Saudi Arabia could certainly convince Lewandowski.
