On April 1st, KT Rolster shocked the entire League of Legends community by convincingly defeating T1 2-0. It was a match where Bdd and his teammates played with extreme discipline, thoroughly exploiting their opponent's operational mistakes. This victory not only earned them points but also fueled expectations that KT would become a "dark horse," disrupting the established order of the LCK and challenging all the major teams.
On the afternoon of April 3rd, KT faced Gen.G. Entering the first game, the 2025 World Championship runner-up proactively chose a team composition focused on poke damage and objective control. The spotlight was on the mid lane, where Bdd brought out his signature Zoe to counter Chovy.
Living up to expectations, Bdd had a stellar game with precise plays, constantly putting Gen.G's key players on high alert. In addition, Aiming's excellent positioning and damage output with Ezreal helped KT completely dominate team fights, taking a 1-0 lead after 32 minutes of play.
Trailing behind, Gen.G immediately made adjustments in the draft phase of game 2 to regain their status as LCK Cup champions. Chovy secured Azir while Ruler acquired Jhin – their most comfortable champions. Gen.G implemented their signature suffocating playstyle, completely controlling objectives on the map. Chovy's masterful "divide and conquer" plays helped Gen.G annihilate KT in just 28 minutes, leveling the score to 1-1 and forcing the epic battle into a decisive game 3.
In the final game, the drama reached its climax as both teams traded blows. However, the turning point came from the brilliance of jungler Cuzz with his Jarvan IV. His perfectly timed Cataclysm abilities split Gen.G's formation, creating vast open spaces for Bdd (Akali) and Aiming (Yunara) to rampage through.

Despite their best defensive efforts, Gen.G ultimately lost 1-2 to a KT team that was playing exceptionally well and displaying great composure. This victory allowed KT Rolster to maintain their 2-0 winning streak after having defeated T1 in the previous match.
The victory against Gen.G not only secured crucial points but also served as a strong statement of KT Rolster's dominance this season. Defeating both top title contenders, T1 and Gen.G, in a short period of time demonstrates that KT has truly transformed and is ready to challenge for any title.
With Bdd's peak performance and the excellent synergy between Cuzz and Aiming, KT promises to create even more upsets in their upcoming LCK Spring 2026 campaign.
Furthermore, after their 0-2 defeat against Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), BRO made a strong comeback today. Facing BNK FearX (BFX), Hanjin Brion (BRO) displayed disciplined gameplay to secure a convincing 2-0 victory. Defeating a formidable opponent like BFX helped BRO relieve the pressure from their previous loss to HLE.
