Recently, the Liên Quân Mobile (Arena of Valor) player community in Vietnam reacted strongly upon discovering a controversial phrase in the link for the "Chung sức Mở Vận" (Joining Forces to Open Your Fortune) event. Under pressure from public opinion and requests from numerous players, the operations team quickly issued a statement to clarify the situation.
According to Garena 's announcement, the inclusion of the character string in the link system was a serious oversight by the technical and operations team. Garena affirms that the consistent and sole message they want to convey during this holiday is "Tet Lien Quan" - a familiar name specifically for players in the Vietnamese market.

Immediately after receiving feedback from the community, Garena stated that they promptly acknowledged, reviewed, and implemented technical measures to fix the display error. The publisher also emphasized that the experience and emotions of players are always the top priority, especially during national holidays like Lunar New Year.
In a statement sent to players, the Arena of Valor Council expressed regret: "Once again, on the Garena Arena of Valor Mobile fanpage, we sincerely apologize for this incident." This apology not only appeared on social media but was also posted on the game's homepage to ensure all gamers could access the official information.
Notably, this is not the first time Arena of Valor has faced backlash for exploiting Vietnamese cultural elements. Back in December 2025, the "Yue - Rice Fairy" skin was heavily criticized by the community for its superficial design and lack of thorough research.

Widely promoted as a product celebrating rice-farming culture, this outfit actually completely lacked any distinctive Vietnamese identifying elements. Under pressure from public opinion, Garena had to officially apologize, admit the mistake, and permanently remove the outfit from the system.
