Is Lisa (BlackPink) currently in Ho Chi Minh City?

On the afternoon of October 17th, several images allegedly of Lisa from the group BlackPink appeared on social media. According to the person who posted these images, the singer is currently experiencing life in Vietnam.

In the short clip, Lisa and her family can be seen looking quite relaxed while shopping at a mall in Ho Chi Minh City. The singer is dressed simply, carrying a Celine bag and with her hair down naturally.

This information quickly became a topic of interest for many fans of Lisa and the group BlackPink.

While the incident was still unconfirmed, the fanpage of a store in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) unexpectedly reposted a picture of Lisa shopping with the caption: "Thank you, Lisa (BlackPink), for visiting our store."

Furthermore, this fan page also shared shopping receipts allegedly belonging to Lisa and her relatives.

The actions of the aforementioned store's fanpage have angered Lisa's fan community in Vietnam. Following the backlash from netizens, the fanpage has deleted the related posts.

The short clip shows Lisa engrossed in shopping with her family in Ho Chi Minh City.

Lisa, whose real name is Pranpriya Manobal, was born in 1997 in Thailand. She is the youngest member of the girl group BlackPink.

Lisa rose to fame with her single "Lalisa," released in September 2021. She previously held the record for being the first female artist to sell over 736,000 copies of a single in its first week of release in South Korea.

The song "Lalisa" also earned the singer two Guinness World Records and the first MTV Video Music Award for a K-pop solo artist in history. Lisa is multilingual, fluent in Thai, English, and Korean, with basic Japanese and Chinese.

In October 2023, Lisa performed at the Crazy Horse strip show in Paris, France. The incident caused controversy among fans of the singer as well as the BlackPink group. Many worried that this would affect her reputation as well as that of the entire group.
