Napoli , the Serie A champions, are actively building their squad – not only to defend the Scudetto next season but also to pursue their ambitions of going far in the Champions League.

Following a commitment made by president Aurelio De Laurentiis to coach Antonio Conte, Napoli will invest heavily in the transfer market.

After signing Kevin de Bruyne on a free transfer , Napoli are preparing to strengthen their attacking options.

Italian media reports that Sporting Director Giovanni Manna is in contact with Manchester United regarding two players: Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho.

Garnacho confirmed his departure from Manchester United early. The Argentine international had serious conflicts with Ruben Amorim and other officials at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho returned from his loan spell at Chelsea and was not included in Ruben Amorim's plans for next season.

Sancho had previously contacted his former club, Borussia Dortmund. However, the Bundesliga team flatly refused to welcome the 25-year-old Englishman back.

The serious project that Napoli is building with Conte, as well as De Bruyne, is attracting the attention of Garnacho and Sancho.

Furthermore, the success of Scott McTominay – a player undervalued by MU – in his first season in Serie A could be key to Napoli bringing Garnacho and Sancho to the Diego Maradona Stadium.

In Sancho's case, AC Milan also made an offer after parting ways with Joao Felix. However, Napoli was more attractive than the Rossoneri, who are not competing in European competitions.
