The two semi-final pairings for the 2025 MLS Cup have been revealed.

On November 25th, the quarter-final matches officially concluded, with the four best teams advancing to the semi-finals (equivalent to the conference finals) of the 2025 MLS Cup.

Following dramatic developments in the quarter-finals, the two semi-final matchups for the 2025 MLS Cup have been determined.

The final ticket to the semi-finals went to San Diego FC after a hard-fought victory against Minnesota United. Minnesota played a tight defensive game, stifling the home team. But Anders Dreyer shone, scoring the only goal to give San Diego a narrow win.

This achievement helped coach Mikey Varas and his team advance to the Western Conference Finals in their very first season.

San Diego's opponent in the regional final is Vancouver Whitecaps. Vancouver are in extremely high spirits after eliminating Son Heung-min's LAFC on penalties (2-2 draw in 120 minutes). Both Thomas Muller and his Vancouver teammates are aiming to end the fairytale run of newcomer San Diego.

In the Eastern Conference, the spotlight is on the clash between Inter Miami CF and New York City FC at Chase Stadium.

Inter Miami is demonstrating devastating power thanks to the brilliant form of Lionel Messi. The 38-year-old superstar has set a record in the playoffs by being involved in all 12 of his team's goals (6 goals, 4 assists) in 4 matches.

Following two consecutive "4-star" victories against Nashville SC and FC Cincinnati, Messi and his teammates are extremely confident heading towards the championship.

However, New York City FC is no easy challenge. They eliminated the Supporters' Shield champions, Philadelphia Union, and boast a superior head-to-head record against Inter Miami (8 wins, 4 draws, and only 2 losses in 14 encounters). Nevertheless, with Messi in the team, all those previous statistics are meaningless.

Eastern Conference: Inter Miami CF vs. New York City FC (6 AM, November 30th)

Western Conference: San Diego FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC (9 AM, November 30)

The two winning teams will meet in the MLS Cup final on December 7th (Vietnam time). If Inter Miami reaches the final, they will have the advantage of playing at home.
