From the beginning of June, the domestic automotive market welcomed many new SUV models such as the Geely Coolray and Okavango duo and the 2026 Kia Sportage. In the latter half of the month, this list of "newcomers" continued to grow with models in the premium segment.
New Audi Q3 and Q5
Launched in the Vietnamese market on June 19th, the new generation Audi Q3 and Q5 are two strategic SUV models from the German automaker in the compact and mid-size luxury SUV segments.
In the new generation, this duo has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of design, technology, and digital experience, and is offered in two body styles: SUV and Sportback.

The Audi Q3 is priced at 2.099-2.199 billion VND for its two versions. This German model competes with the Volvo XC40, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and BMW X1.
Some notable features on Audi's compact SUV line include: an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus display and a 12.8-inch MMI infotainment screen, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and a range of driver assistance technologies.
The new Audi Q3 is equipped with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, producing 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed S-tronic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Positioned above the Q3 in the brand's product range, the Audi Q5 is priced at 2.849-2.949 billion VND for its two versions, directly competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Lexus NX, and Volvo XC60.

This mid-size SUV uses the PPC platform. It's equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine producing 196 horsepower, paired with Quattro Ultra all-wheel drive.
Both versions of the new Q5 sold in the Vietnamese market are equipped with the S-Line sports package. Some exterior highlights include matrix LED headlights, taillights with customizable effects, and a large grille.
The cockpit features a curved display cluster (11.9-inch screen behind the steering wheel, 14.5-inch center screen, and 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger), a head-up display (HUD), a 16-speaker, 685W Bang & Olufsen sound system, interactive ambient interior lighting, and a variety of premium materials.
Mazda CX-60 and CX-90
On June 20th, Thaco Auto officially launched two Mazda models, the CX-60 and CX-90, positioned in the premium segment. The Mazda CX-60, a mid-size SUV, is offered in a single 3.3 Turbo HEV AWD version priced at 1.699 billion VND.

At this price point, the CX-60 competes directly with premium SUVs from Europe such as the Peugeot 5008 GT (1.529 billion VND) or the Volkswagen Tiguan (1.688 billion VND).
In the large SUV segment, the Mazda CX-90 is positioned as the flagship SUV of the Japanese brand in Vietnam. It comes in three versions priced from 1.899 to 2.299 billion VND. At this price point, the Mazda CX-90 directly competes with the Volkswagen Teramont X, which starts at 1.998 billion VND.
This SUV model comes in 6 or 7-seat configurations, uses i-Activ AWD, and has a longitudinally mounted engine platform similar to the CX-60. The PHEV version uses a 2.5L e-Skyactiv gasoline engine combined with an electric motor. The included battery pack has a capacity of 17.8kWh, providing a pure electric driving range of 42 km.

Both new SUVs adopt Mazda's familiar Kodo design language but have different body proportions compared to Mazda models previously sold in Vietnam. This stems from the chassis platform specifically designed for Mazda's premium SUVs in Europe, featuring a longitudinally mounted engine, rear-wheel-drive AWD, hybrid technology, and a new generation 8-speed automatic transmission.
The interior is designed in a modern and minimalist style, with an emphasis on high-quality materials. The biggest difference between the CX-60 and CX-90 lies in the CX-90's third row of seats.
Lynk & Co 900
Having been brought to Vietnam for display a long time ago, the Lynk & Co 900 large SUV was officially launched on June 16th with a price of 3.069 billion VND.

This is the flagship model of the Chinese manufacturer in our country. The exterior design follows a minimalist, boxy style inspired by the Range Rover. The car uses 21-inch wheels, full LED headlights, soft-close doors, hidden door handles, a panoramic sunroof, and a split electric rear spoiler.
This model emphasizes interior amenities with a 30-inch 6K resolution central display, a 30-inch ceiling-mounted entertainment screen for the rear seats, a 95-inch HUD display, a 31-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a 3-zone automatic climate control system, a mini-refrigerator, 180-degree swivel second-row seats with massage and leg support.

The vehicle uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0L gasoline engine combined with two electric motors, for a total output of 709 horsepower. The 52.38 kWh battery pack provides an all-electric driving range of approximately 170 km.
