According to information from the Foreign Trade University, this year the university received more than 700 applications for direct admission and priority consideration.

This includes 346 direct admission applications from candidates who won first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student competition in subjects belonging to the school's admission criteria.

476 priority applications were given to students who won national-level academic awards, were members of the national-level academic teams, or won awards in national and international science and technology competitions.

The school stated that these are all outstanding students from specialized high schools, key high schools, and prestigious high schools from various localities across the country.

In addition to their outstanding achievements in the national excellent student competition, these students also possess high-level international language certificates. Specifically, 84 students achieved IELTS scores of 8.0 or higher; 35 students achieved HSK 6 level in Chinese; 12 students achieved JLPT N1 level in Japanese; and 9 students achieved DALF C1 level in French .
