The "4 Good" School

The Party cell of Tran Van On Primary School in Rach Gia ward is a shining example in building a strong Party cell. With the motto of "four good things" (good teaching, good Party cell activities, good unity, and good Party members), the school's Party cell leads the construction of a humane educational environment where each student develops comprehensively from morality to knowledge.

Innovating Party branch activities

Implementing the "four good Party branch" model, the Party branch of Tran Van On Primary School maintains regular and regulated meetings; the atmosphere is friendly and open. Professional issues are integrated into the meeting content. Party members exchange and express their opinions on issues such as: tutoring weak students, nurturing gifted students, or solutions for applying information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching. These issues are concretized into daily actions of the teachers: a lesson using new software, a life skills enhancement session, a small group tutoring after school.

In 2024, the Party Branch of Tran Van On Primary School organized many practical thematic meetings, most notably the meeting on "Cadres and Party members continue to fulfill their exemplary responsibilities; overcoming the fear of responsibility and reluctance to act." Party members raised difficulties and obstacles in the teaching process for discussion and solution finding. Ms. Vu Ngoc Tuyet, a teacher of class 3/1, shared: "During the Party branch meetings, the spirit of democracy was promoted. There was no deference or avoidance; instead, there was frankness and constructive feedback."

Holistic education

Although it is only a medium-sized primary school, what many parents appreciate and choose to send their children to is the quality of education. Each student at Tran Van On Primary School is encouraged to express their creativity, develop their self-learning abilities, and cultivate a love of learning. Each classroom is a small world where students not only learn academics but also learn how to be good people.

In its comprehensive education development strategy, the Party Committee and the school's Board of Directors place special emphasis on life skills education and experiential activities. Lessons are no longer confined to the classroom; students experience and learn through extracurricular activities linked to real-world situations. Through these extracurricular activities, students become more confident, assertive, and learn to share and cooperate with their peers.

Behind these innovations lies the close support of the Party branch. The Party branch not only provides guidance but also closely monitors each lesson and every step taken by the teachers. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party branch and Principal of Tran Van On Primary School, stated: “The school management team dedicates time to visiting classrooms, understanding the actual situation, offering suggestions and advice, and accompanying teachers in all activities. All difficulties are resolved, ensuring no one has to struggle alone.”

Professional development sessions, teaching demonstrations, and sample lessons are not only opportunities to check and evaluate teaching methods but also chances for teachers to exchange and learn from each other professionally. The classroom environment is fair and open, where weaker students receive dedicated support, gifted students have their potential unlocked, and all are encouraged to develop.

The key lies in the party members.

The Party cell of Tran Van On Primary School currently has 22 members, the majority of whom are young, dynamic, and dedicated to their profession. One of the key factors contributing to the school's educational quality is the Party members' efforts in learning, innovating teaching methods, and being creative in each lesson.

For Ms. Pham Thi Thu Van, a teacher in class 4/1, teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but also a journey of nurturing students' thinking, character, and joy in coming to class. Ms. Van said: “From the beginning of the school year, I surveyed and categorized students' abilities, and then designed individualized lessons. High-achieving students were given extended, creative exercises; those who were slower learners received private tutoring after class.”

With the development of technology, most teachers at Tran Van On Primary School are boldly applying information technology, such as creating electronic lesson plans. Ms. Vu Ngoc Tuyet is one of the young Party members leading the way in applying information technology to teaching. She organizes lively STEM lessons, uses the KAV practice software, and has independently created 400 electronic lesson plans. In her classes, students not only grasp the knowledge but are also enthusiastic, proactive, and cooperative.

Based on the "four-good Party branch" model, the Party branch of Tran Van On Primary School leads the construction of a quality educational environment where students develop comprehensively. Innovation in teaching, the spirit of unity, and the efforts of the teaching staff help the school maintain strong achievements and affirm its position in the provincial education sector.

The spirit of unity and exemplary conduct of Party members helped the Party Branch of Tran Van On Primary School achieve the title of "Party Branch that excellently fulfills its tasks" and be recognized as a "Party Branch with 4 good qualities" in 2024.
