Mark Zuckerberg has drawn attention by commissioning a giant statue of his wife. In photos and videos posted on Instagram, the Facebook CEO stated that he is "bringing back the Roman tradition of erecting statues of wives."

This large sculpture was created by artist Daniel Arsham, who has collaborated with many famous brands such as Tiffany and Dior. The statue is green and appears to be striding, wearing a silver cloak.

Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, stood next to the approximately 2-meter-tall statue, placed under a tree. Chan also left a comment accompanied by a heart emoji.

According to People magazine, Roman statues are sometimes used to commemorate deceased loved ones or to highlight a person's importance to someone else. The Chan statue received a positive reaction from Zuckerberg's social media followers.

“So beautiful, what a lucky woman,” one person wrote. Meanwhile, the account “The Billionaires [sic] Lifestyle” – which posts photos of wealthy people and expensive things – suggested that the Chan statue should be placed in a museum, accompanied by clapping hands and burning flames. The account “Pantoja_Oficial” commented: “The right woman will turn a boy into a real man.”

However, not everyone was impressed by the Facebook billionaire's "obsessive" love for his wife. Some people felt a chill down their spine upon seeing the artwork.
