The plane carrying billionaire Bill Gates departs Da Nang.

The Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, flight number N887WM, carrying billionaire Bill Gates (69 years old) and his girlfriend, took off from Da Nang airport at approximately 9:15 PM.

Billionaire Bill Gates and his girlfriend arrived in Da Nang on the morning of March 4th on a private plane. After checking into a 5-star resort in Son Tra district, the $70 million N887WM aircraft was parked at Da Nang airport under strict security surveillance.

During his stay in Da Nang, billionaire Bill Gates spent time visiting Son Tra Peninsula on the afternoon of March 6th. There, he and his girlfriend climbed to the summit of Ban Co Peak on Son Tra Mountain to explore, admire the scenery, and enjoy Vietnamese tea amidst the fog. They also got a panoramic view of Da Nang city after the fog cleared.

Some local vendors spotted the billionaire and his girlfriend while they were touring Son Tra Mountain with their entourage.

At approximately 10:45 AM on March 7th, the American billionaire and his girlfriend visited a tennis court on Son Tra Mountain to play sports for about 45 minutes. Afterwards, they returned to their 5-star resort to rest before boarding their private Gulfstream G650ER aircraft, flight number N887WM, departing from Da Nang Airport.

In 2006, he visited Vietnam for a day, meeting with representatives from the technology industry. During that time, he spent an afternoon visiting Tu Son district in Bac Ninh province, trying betel chewing and listening to Quan Ho folk music.

This trip to Vietnam comes after he attended the lavish wedding party of the son of Asia's richest man in India.
