When will it rain in the North?

(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, around May 14-16, the Northern region will experience showers and local thunderstorms, concentrated in the late afternoon and evening.

Cold air has affected the Northern region, most of the North Central region. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are Northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 8.

The Hydrometeorological Forecasting Agency forecasts that in the afternoon and night of May 11, cold air will continue to affect other places in the North Central region and some places in the Central Central region. Inland, northeast wind will be level 2-3; coastal areas will be level 3-4, gusting to level 6.

The weather in the North and North Central regions is cool, while some mountainous areas in the North will be cold. In the late afternoon and evening of May 12-13, the area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with heavy rain in some places; from May 14, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, and sunny days.

In the Central Highlands and the South, there will be rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms on the night of May 12-13, with some places having heavy rain. At sea, on May 11, the Gulf of Tonkin has northeast wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, rough sea, waves 1.5-2.5m high. From night the wind gradually decreases.
