Developing new products, restructuring, planning, promoting key tourism projects, and expanding tourism spaces are the ways Cam Pha tourism is encouraging and developing tourism during the off-season at the end of the year as well as in the long term.
“To provide effective support to tourism units and businesses during the year-end period and in the coming time, we are focusing on specific solutions to promote tourism services and trade to ‘boost’ tourism. We hope this will be an effective way for units and businesses to overcome difficulties,” said Mr. Bui Hai Son, Head of the Culture and Sports Department of Cam Pha City.
Accordingly, Cam Pha City is focusing on promoting tourism and services during the year-end period, using it as a driving force and "lever" to overcome difficulties and move forward. The city continues to direct and support the strong promotion of projects and plans for tourism and service development, and the development of new products.

Simultaneously, taking advantage of the stable recovery of network infrastructure and telecommunications services, the city is promoting the digital economy and e-commerce. Accordingly, the city is maintaining the effective model of shopping malls and supermarkets, with Vincom Plaza as the key, along with 9 supermarkets, 18 markets, and 53 convenience stores…
Recognizing that the digital economy and e-commerce are indispensable bridges and drivers for promoting tourism and services, the city has chosen to build a model of safe food markets, expand markets to include cashless payment options, and develop e-commerce to a new level in all markets and shopping centers.
Cam Pha City is also focused on promoting the pilot implementation of a project to develop the night-time economy, diversify services, and select destinations for tourists. The end of the year and the beginning of the next year are vibrant times for spiritual tourism, and the city is paying attention to improving the quality and organizing spiritual tourism products at temples and pagodas; and coal tourism combined with high-class resort products.
To create momentum and lasting appeal, Cam Pha is actively supporting and facilitating investors in researching and implementing projects with a driving force, such as: the eco-tourism and eco-urban area project in Zone 4B (Cua Ong ward), the adjustment of the local planning for the high-end hot spring resort and tourism service urban area project (Quang Hanh ward), the Bai Tu Long 1 tourism and service urban area project (Cam Thanh and Cam Binh wards), the tourism service complex urban area project (Quang Hanh ward), etc.

A key factor in attracting tourism to Cam Pha is the development and improvement of new tourism products; promoting connections with TUI Museum Group to bring luxury international tourists to Cam Pha during the year-end season. At the same time, the city has proposed one inner-city tourism route in Cam Pha and connected two new tourism routes with Van Don district; continuing to expand tourism space southward, coordinating with relevant agencies to survey and propose the development of routes and destinations, and unlocking the tourism potential of the Bai Tu Long Bay area.
Thanks to practical solutions, Cam Pha has initially overcome difficulties and encouraged businesses to develop tourism services. In the first nine months of 2024, Cam Pha is estimated to have welcomed nearly 1.1 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching an estimated 665 billion VND, a growth rate consistently exceeding the same period and the annual plan. It is evident that fundamental and long-term solutions have helped Cam Pha's tourism recover quickly, expand its scope, increase its attractiveness, and move towards sustainable development in the future.
