In recent days, hundreds of purple crape myrtle trees have bloomed simultaneously at a tea plantation belonging to a business in Hamlet 7, Loc Quang Commune, Bao Lam District, painting the lush green oolong tea fields with shades of purple.

Every day, this picturesque tea plantation, resembling a peaceful countryside scene, attracts locals and tourists alike who come to visit and take photos as souvenirs.

These more than 300 purple crape myrtle trees have been planted by the owner of this oolong tea plantation for over 10 years.

Purple crape myrtle trees are planted along the embankment of the tea plantation, which spans tens of hectares. When in bloom, the purple color paints a fascinating picture against the green background.

From the center of Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province, heading towards Dam B'ri waterfall, after about 20 minutes of travel, visitors will reach the tea plantation to admire the nostalgic purple flowers and lush green tea hills.

Upon investigation, this is a variety of purple crape myrtle imported from Australia.

When mature, the tree has a trunk taller than 3m and a canopy 3 to 5m wide; the flowers are dark purple, with thick and large petals.

Many tourists who come to experience this idyllic rural landscape share that they learned about this memorable check-in spot through social media and were eager to travel there.

Many tourists bring their whole families to experience it. "We brought our children here hoping they will learn more about the countryside, immerse themselves in nature, and develop a greater love for the rural areas of our country," shared a tourist from Da Lat city.

In previous years, the purple blossoms of the crape myrtle tree adorned this tea plantation. But this year, the flowers bloomed even more brilliantly all at once, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.
