One student died from drowning.

(QNO) - At 3 PM on April 27th, a tragic drowning incident occurred on the Thu Bon River, near the Phu Thuan ferry terminal in Dai Thang commune, Dai Loc district, resulting in the disappearance of a child named NBDT (born in 2012, residing in Dai Thang commune). After more than 20 hours of searching, on the afternoon of April 28th, rescue forces handed over the victim's body to the family for burial.

According to the information about the incident, NBDT and two other children (all residing in Dai Thang commune) went swimming in the Thu Bon River near the Phu Thuan ferry terminal (Dai Thang commune) when a drowning incident occurred, and T. was swept away and went missing.

With the active support of members of the SOS Quang Nam Emergency Rescue Team and the district's authorities, on the afternoon of April 28, the body of T. was found approximately 200 meters from the drowning location.

Authorities have now completed the necessary procedures and handed over the victim's body to the family for burial.
