Senne Lammens has flown to Manchester to finalize the transfer before the 7 pm deadline tonight (UK time).

Due to the inconsistency of Onana and Bayindir in goal, the Red Devils' leadership prioritized strengthening the goalkeeping position, with Lammens as the top target, alongside backup Emiliano "Dibu" Martinez.

After numerous negotiations, MU finally agreed on a transfer fee of £18.5 million, plus an additional £3.5 million in add-ons, with Antwerp FC.

Lammens is set to sign a five-year contract with the Old Trafford club. He will compete for the number one spot with Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.

Manchester United's signing of Lammens also put an end to rumors of Emiliano Martinez joining MU on the final day of the summer transfer window.

Argentina's number one goalkeeper is keen to move to Manchester United, but he is only considered a backup option if the Red Devils fail to sign Lammens.

In other news related to the Manchester team, they have also just sent the "troublemaker" Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa on loan.

The Villa Park club has agreed to pay 80% of Sancho's salary, after he had previously rejected an offer to join AS Roma.
