The deal to permanently sign goalkeeper Andre Onana from Trabzonspor is in danger of collapsing as the fee demanded by Manchester United (MU) is considered too high.

Trabzonspor's vice-president, Zeyyat Kafkas, confirmed: "The fee Manchester United is asking for Onana is in the range of 45-50 million euros. The president has clearly informed the fans based on the actual situation at Trabzonspor," he said.

According to Kafkas, this is an exorbitant amount considering the team's financial capabilities. Currently, Onana plays for Trabzonspor on loan from Manchester United. However, Trabzonspor has not closed the door on the Onana deal. Vice-president Kafkas said the situation could still change if the transfer terms are adjusted in the future.
