MU is about to welcome its second new signing.

Manchester United are very close to completing the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, marking their second new signing of this summer's transfer window.

Mbeumo is set to join Manchester United this summer.

According to ESPN , the basic terms of the deal have been agreed, and both sides are discussing additional fees and payment methods. The fee is around £60 million, plus £5 million in add-ons, bringing the total value of the deal to £65 million, the same figure Brentford had hoped for.

The negotiations between the two sides are said to have gone smoothly. Leicester City have agreed to allow Manchester United to pay in installments. It is highly likely that the Red Devils will finalize the deal before Ruben Amorim's team returns to training on July 7th. Mbeumo has had time to adapt to Manchester United from the start.

The Athletic confirms that Mbeumo's preference for joining Manchester United is a key factor in the rapid progress of the deal, despite interest from Tottenham. The player is awaiting approval from Brentford to undergo a medical and complete the formalities of joining his new club.

Previously, MU successfully signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a fee of £62.5 million. The Brazilian player made a strong impression at Molineux and promised to strengthen the Old Trafford club's attack alongside Mbeumo.

Mbeumo stands out for his speed, technique, and diverse finishing ability. Since joining Brentford for just £5.8 million in 2019, he has scored 70 goals in 242 appearances across all competitions, including 42 Premier League goals in 136 appearances.

Last season, the 25-year-old striker scored 20 goals and provided 7 assists, helping Brentford finish 10th in the Premier League.
