• A warm and loving Tet holiday
  • Tighten market controls during Tet holiday.
  • Heartfelt sentiments as spring arrives and Tet (Lunar New Year) comes.

The lion dance performance brought a joyful atmosphere to the children.

At Ho Thi Ky B Primary School, where over 40% of the students are children of the Khmer ethnic minority, the atmosphere of an early Tet celebration was vividly recreated. The lively sound of lion dance drums blended with the innocent laughter of children, creating a vibrant atmosphere to welcome the new spring.

For many rural students, this was their first time seeing a lion dance, so they were very excited.

Huynh Anh Duong (3A class) excitedly said: "This is the first time I've played ring toss to win prizes and watched a lion dance, it's so much fun."

Not only the children, but also the performers were filled with emotion. Nguyen Chi Tam (Kim Long Lion Dance Troupe, Ca Mau ) shared: "After performing the 'Two Lions Wishing a Happy New Year' act for the children in remote areas, the troupe members felt an indescribable happiness. We wanted to bring joy and encouragement to the people and children during the spring and Tet holiday."

Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, Head of the Pink Smile Club, gives lucky money to the children.

To achieve those smiles and joy, the members of the Pink Smile Club had been busy preparing for over a month. More than 95 million VND was raised and used to support over 320 students.

Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, the club's leader, shared: "The program has been maintained since 2013. Depending on the actual conditions of each locality, the club will design suitable playgrounds. Our biggest motivation is the children's smiles. Some children, at the end of the program, keep asking: 'Will you come again next year?' That makes young people like us tell ourselves: as long as we have the strength and can still move around, we will continue."

Students enthusiastically participated in games and received spring gifts in the "Spring for Children" program.

In addition to organizing playgrounds, the program also mobilizes resources and awards scholarships and health insurance cards to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The program awarded 64 scholarships and 128 health insurance cards to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thi, Principal of Ho Thi Ky B Primary School, these activities are a valuable source of encouragement, helping students gain more strength to strive for success.

Spring arrived early and was very meaningful for the students of Ho Thi Ky B Primary School, Ho Thi Ky Commune.

Spring is only truly complete when joy is shared. The "spring bearers" of the Pink Smile Club are preparing for their next journeys, continuing their love-filled path so that no one is left behind.
