Mui Ne attracts tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

During the Lunar New Year of the Horse - 2026, Mui Ne and the eastern coastal area of ​​Lam Dong province welcomed a significant increase in tourists. Occupancy rates at many resorts reached high levels, while international tourists continued to return due to the quality of service and safe tourism environment.

Safe and vibrant during peak season.

According to Mr. Huynh Thanh Truc, Director of the Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area Management Board, from February 14-18, 2026, the Mui Ne tourist route welcomed 1,970 overnight visitors; including 1,734 domestic tourists and 236 international tourists.

The peak number of visitors started from the second day of Tet (Lunar New Year) and is expected to continue to increase sharply until the sixth day of Tet, reaching an estimated 10,000 people.

International tourists visit and explore the architectural beauty of the Po Sah Inu temple complex (Phu Thuy ward, Lam Dong province).

At tourist attractions such as Ong Dia Rock, Fairy Stream, Sand Dunes, and Hon Rom, security and order were ensured, with no accidents or traffic congestion occurring.

The sandboard rental business at Sand Dunes is strictly managed, with no instances of competition or theft. Businesses strictly adhere to price listing and selling at the correct prices, and there have been no reports of price gouging.

Along with Mui Ne, Tien Thanh ward also recorded a surge in visitors. Room occupancy in Tien Thanh reached over 85%, with many high-end accommodations fully booked since December of the previous year. On average across the province, room occupancy reached 80-85%, while the 3-5 star segment reached 90-95%.

During the Lunar New Year of the Horse - 2026, the Lam Dong Blue Sea area welcomed over 450,000 tourists.

The destination of return

According to statistics from resorts, the number of international tourists returning to Mui Ne has been steadily increasing year after year. Many families choose to return multiple times a year, considering it a familiar vacation destination.

The Pit Panther family (UK) shared that they had a fulfilling week-long stay and were satisfied with the quality of service, scenery, and safety in Mui Ne. Meanwhile, Bob Perier (Mauritius Island) said this was his eighth year celebrating Tet in Vietnam and he continued to choose Mui Ne for its warm, peaceful, and friendly atmosphere.

Miriam Gawlica from the United States said: "Our holiday at the hotel in Mui Ne, Vietnam, was a special experience. My family was warmly welcomed and impressed with the quality of service, the resort's ambiance, and the attention to detail."

According to her, everything was perfect, and this is a destination she would gladly return to and recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable, peaceful, and luxurious vacation.
