In the 2024 OCOP product classification assessment, My Duc district has 13 new products participating in the assessment of the subjects: My Duc Hand Embroidery Cooperative with 5 products (National flower hand embroidery painting to welcome spring, Temple of Literature hand embroidery painting, One Pillar Pagoda hand embroidery painting, Sunflower hand embroidery painting, Zen Lotus hand embroidery painting); My Duc Agricultural Company Limited with 3 products (Black tea, Solanum procumbens tea, Royal jelly turmeric pills); My Duc Silk Mulberry Company Limited with 2 products (wood grain pillows, hand embroidered silk scarves); Nhan Van rattan and bamboo establishment with 3 products (Spiral rattan lamps, Nhu Y rattan and bamboo mirrors, Van Nhi woven bamboo lamps). Most of them are handicraft products or specialties of the district and have traceability, packaging, and labels that are quite suitable for consumer tastes. In addition, the subjects have also changed their thinking about environmentally friendly production and created many jobs for local workers, with an orientation towards sustainable brand building. Some subjects have known how to tell creative product stories, attract consumers, stimulate them to buy, not simply produce and then sell at outlets and stores as before. The Council for evaluating and classifying OCOP products in My Duc district highly appreciated the changes in thinking of such subjects and recommended that they complete their documents to submit to the city level. The One Commune One Product program has never been as vibrant as it is now, the evaluation and classification of OCOP products is meaningful in the socio -economic development of the locality, opening a sustainable direction for subjects in production and consumption of goods.

My Duc district used to be the "cradle" of the silkworm growing, silk reeling and silk weaving profession of the old Ha Tay province. Meritorious artisan Phan Thi Thuan, Director of My Duc Silk Sericulture Company Limited, confided with the heart of a native child that she was very sad to see the silk reeling and silk weaving profession decline. Therefore, she thought of ways to create new products to attract the attention of consumers day and night. Typical of which is that instead of letting people weave silk, she came up with a self-woven silk blanket product, which was granted a national exclusive patent, or came up with a way to harvest lotus silk and weave it into silk. Each of her products sells for several million to tens of millions of VND, and is one of the typical products as gifts of My Duc district in particular and Hanoi in general. She boldly brought them to participate in the OCOP program and was highly praised by the jury for their uniqueness, meticulousness and artistry.
