This organization asserts that all of the above content is fake, does not reflect the truth, and shows signs of exploiting AI technology to create false information, affecting the reputation and image of the artist, and negatively impacting the online information environment.
My Tam's team also urged viewers and the online community to be vigilant and only accept and verify information from official channels.
In conclusion, MTE thanked its audience for their trust and discernment in receiving information, and expressed its desire to work with the community to build a civilized, safe, and responsible online environment.
Recently, not only My Tam, but many Vietnamese celebrities have also had to speak out to warn about being impersonated using their images and voices. Celebrities are often exploited for advertising and online scams. Ly Hai was once a victim of fake videos promoting gambling and recruiting for work-from-home jobs. These videos spread across many social media platforms, using AI technology to mimic voices and faces. Mac Van Khoa, Viet Huong, Dan Truong, Tung Duong, MC Dai Nghia... have all fallen victim to similar scams and had to issue corrections to prevent audience confusion.
