To achieve the above objective, Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department has developed 14 groups of solutions to implement tax collection from the beginning of the year, ensuring accurate and complete collection across all management areas. Simultaneously, it continues to promote and encourage taxpayers to comply with tax regulations regarding registration and declaration, and to utilize modern tax management applications, aiming to improve tax databases for taxpayers in the province.
Timely implementation of effective policies and models.
In 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department actively implemented solutions to disseminate information and support taxpayers in promptly accessing new tax regulations and policies. This ensured that taxpayers understood and smoothly implemented these new policies through the tax management data system upon their effectiveness. A prime example is the timely implementation of tax exemptions, reductions, and extensions for taxpayers in the province, contributing to helping them overcome difficulties and maintain production. In 2025, the total amount of tax reductions resulting from these preferential policies for taxpayers in Dong Nai province is estimated to exceed 3.8 trillion VND.

Specifically, it has integrated tax management into the digital environment, improved the quality of electronic tax services, and created maximum convenience for taxpayers. The expansion of electronic invoices generated from cash registers has also been accelerated to improve the efficiency of tax management, debt management, and accurate classification of tax refund applications.
Besides implementing new policies, the tax sector consistently monitors and supports businesses to promptly address difficulties and obstacles through dialogues and meetings with businesses. This has contributed to increasing stable revenue for the state budget.
According to Mr. Huynh Thien Duy Phuong, implementing tax regulations and policies for taxpayers is not only a professional task of the tax sector but also a process of collaboration and two-way interaction between state agencies and the taxpayer community.
Determined to complete the tasks by 2026
2026 marks the beginning of the implementation of the socio -economic development plan for the 2026-2030 period. Therefore, the tax sector has begun managing state budget revenue collection from the start of the year by accelerating administrative procedure reforms, modernizing the tax sector, and strongly applying information technology and digital transformation in tax management. Tax inspections and audits are conducted in a risk-based, targeted manner, ensuring compliance with the law, and enhancing transparency and fairness. The management and enforcement of tax debt recovery to compensate for revenue reductions due to tax policy adjustments effective from 2026 have also been implemented promptly and effectively.
The Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department currently manages over 70,000 businesses. Of these, over 54,500 are newly established taxpayers, and over 15,000 businesses are awaiting dissolution. Therefore, tax management always requires ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Sharing his determination to achieve state revenue targets in 2026, the Head of Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, Nguyen Toan Thang, stated: "From the beginning of the year, the tax sector has proactively implemented its tasks. Simultaneously, we have calculated the impact of new policies and assigned revenue targets for 2026, ensuring feasibility and addressing challenges for each department and tax office. Alongside setting targets, we have strengthened management, combated revenue losses, handled outstanding debts, controlled tax refunds, and closely monitored and accurately forecasted revenue for each locality and tax category. The tax sector has also reviewed and identified potential revenue sources and areas of revenue loss to promptly propose effective solutions. The entire sector has launched a widespread emulation movement, determined to strive to complete and exceed the tax work targets for 2026."
Building on the outstanding achievements of 2025 and 2026, the tax sector will continue to promptly and effectively implement solutions regarding tax extensions, exemptions, and reductions, as well as land rent reductions, to support businesses and individuals. Simultaneously, it will tighten measures in the area of tax declaration inspection and supervision. In particular, it will focus on inspecting declarations with discrepancies and business sectors with potential signs of under-declaration of taxes. It will review the situation of provisional corporate income tax payments and remaining profits for 2025 and the quarters of 2026 to urge businesses to pay taxes accurately reflecting actual expenses, resolutely penalize cases violating tax declaration regulations, and assess taxes for taxpayers who violate tax laws in accordance with the Law on Tax Administration…
