Despite facing many difficulties and challenges in 2025, with the spirit of unity, proactiveness, creativity, and striving of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the commune, Thach Quang still achieved important results in socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the political system.

Thach Quang commune was established by merging three communes: Thach Lam, Thach Tuong, and Thach Quang. Immediately after the merger, the commune implemented comprehensive solutions for socio-economic development; directing efforts to accelerate the transformation of crop and livestock structures, introducing new high-yield and high-quality varieties into production to meet market demands. The total cultivated area in 2025 exceeded 1,167 hectares, achieving 100% of the plan, with a food production output of 2,299 tons. In addition, the commune mobilized the people to consolidate 25 hectares of land for large-scale agricultural development using high technology; converting 15 hectares of low-yield rice land to other crops with higher economic value. Simultaneously, it focused on developing intensive farming areas, concentrating production of fruit trees, vegetables, and rice on 25 hectares, following VietGAP and organic farming standards. As a result, the value of agricultural products per hectare of cultivated land in the commune reached 111.55 million VND. Livestock farming has clearly shifted from household farming to large-scale, concentrated farming; the output of various types of meat reached 15,000 tons; the total number of livestock and poultry reached 137,944.

In 2025, the total production value of the commune reached 715 billion VND. Trade and service activities were vibrant, with abundant and diverse goods, and prices remained relatively stable, meeting the needs of the people. Alongside this, the commune promoted tourism linkages, promotion, and advertising. During the summer of 2025, tourism activities were bustling, attracting 104,300 tourists to May Waterfall.

Planning and basic construction investment have been effectively directed and implemented by the local Party committee and government. The commune is currently taking steps to develop a new general plan for Thach Quang commune in accordance with the province's orientation. Along with focusing on completing land clearance and accelerating the progress of the Thach Quang commune road project connecting to Quy Luong commune, the commune is strengthening its direction to accelerate the construction progress of projects and works in the area. It is focusing on disbursing investment capital for construction projects that have been allocated in 2025, the National Target Program for New Rural Development, and essential infrastructure investment projects serving production and life in ethnic minority areas under the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous regions.

Cultural and sports activities are vibrant, and festivals are organized according to traditional customs, promoting cultural values ​​and contributing to improving the spiritual life and creating a competitive spirit among the people. The work of building cultural life at the grassroots level continues to receive attention, with 84% of families recognized as "cultural families" and 91.3% of villages achieving the title of "cultural village". The commune continues to direct and promote the implementation of targets and tasks related to digital transformation and the development of science and technology. To date, 100% of documents are processed using document management software; 100% of officials and civil servants have been issued specialized digital certificates and digital signatures and use them regularly. The quality of mass education has improved positively, and advanced education continues to maintain its achievements. Vocational training, job placement, and social welfare are given attention. The commune strengthens its monitoring and understanding of production, business, and labor needs in enterprises to provide solutions to support businesses in recruiting workers. Social welfare policies are implemented fully, promptly, and correctly for the target groups. By the end of 2025, the average per capita income of the commune is expected to reach 48.2 million VND.

The commune's defense and security have been strengthened, and social order and safety are ensured. Party building, administrative reform, and the political system have been improved; Party development work has been given attention; and unity within the Party and among the people has been strengthened.

The achievements in 2025 will provide a solid foundation for Thach Quang commune to successfully implement the goals and tasks for 2026 and the 2026-2030 period; striving for a product value growth rate of 7% or more; per capita income reaching 50.1 million VND; total food production reaching 2,554 tons or more; and land consolidation for large-scale production of 50 hectares or more...
